School Pick-Ups and Afterschool Club

PALS Afterschool Club

PALS offers after school pick-ups and childcare, in a welcoming environment with plenty of green, outdoor space.  We take children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class attending Glounthaune NS (SNCN) and Gaelscoil Ui Drisceoil, Glanmire.  Children are grouped by class.  Each group has their own space while doing homework or playing indoors.

• Green Room:      Junior and Senior Infants
• Yellow Room:     First and Second Classes
• Red Room:         Third to Sixth Classes

To ensure play out of doors, all year round, we have an astro-turf court.  We have also added a large indoor/outdoor room where children can get fresh air, while doing activities, all year round.

A quiet time and place is set aside so that children can do their homework.  With a generous ratio of adults to kids we provide as much assistance as each child requires. We serve a hot, nutritious meal each day and there are plenty of age appropriate, fun activities.  Priority is given to the outdoors where we have a lovely, large garden surrounded by trees and hedgerows.

PALS also operates a Breakfast Club for students from Glounthaune NS (places limited).  Please get in touch to find out more.
